Registry Update 2009
So much is new and improved at the Registry!
Professional Development Approval System (PDAS) – PDAS was created to allow practitioners in the child care profession a clearer idea of what kind of training they are receiving and accountability for those providing the training. Approved trainers offer Tiered Training and enter your attendance at the training directly to your Registry record. Those taking tiered training can move up career levels with an accumulation of that training.

Our website now has more information than ever before. You will find it easy to navigate and many new features including frequently-asked-questions, detailed information on credentials and your own Registry record.
My Registry – We encourage you to visit our website and login to see all details of your record with the Registry. This can be a useful tool in tracking your continuing education hours and training. Select Individual, Trainer or Consultant on the left menu to register or connect with your previous application.
New Levels – We now have 17 career levels. It is our intention that you will be encouraged to see how you can advance to the next level; especially those taking the new approved tiered training. Click Here to view the career levels.
New Certificate – Our certificate has a new look and has more features including information regarding your verified CPR and First Aid training. While the Registry certificate has always been a useful tool for demonstrating one’s education level, years in the field, professional contributions and training, the new design allows for more detail for you to share with parents, licensors and others.
Professional Contribution Certificate – Your Professional Contributions will now be acknowledged with a separate certificate from the Registry. This certificate will commend you for your work in the child care and education field.
CPR and First Aid training - CPR and First Aid training must be verified with a barcode, copy of training card or official certificate from the training organization to be reflected on your certificate.
Barcodes – Registered trainers on the Registry now issue documentation of training with barcode number that may be on a label or a certificate with just the barcode number on it. Both types of verification are acceptable and will be added to your Learning Record when submitted with your application.
High School Verification - Those that meet the Level One requirements and want to advance to Level Two need to have their high school graduation verified with a copy of a high school transcript, copy of diploma or degree in higher education.
